BPMN Foundation

Forget about UML. Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is a graphical notation that teaches you to model business processes. It is a standard that is understandable to all involved in the project. In addition, it offers much more than UML. We have gathered over 15 years of experience in modeling enterprise architecture.

Target Audience

Business Process Model and Notation

To all who want to get an easy-to-read and understand notation of business processes throughout the process life cycle. BPMN creates a standardized bridge that connects the gap between process design and implementation

  • Business analysts who create the initial process designs
  • Developers responsible for implementing the technical solution
  • Other members of the team who will manage and monitor these processes
Business Process Model and Notation

Aims of the course

  • You can design a model to create an independent integrated model
  • We will show how, as the owner of the process, to focus on weaknesses
  • Create a consistent description by unifying definitions and metamodels
  • You will be able to share and exchange modeled processes between diagramming tools
  • With BPMN XML for transforming models, you can build better modeling for making the right decisions

Why BPMN

BPMN is a standard as well as a norm (ISO 19510) for creating and modeling business processes

Business Process Model and Notation will help you create user-friendly process descriptions while maintaining the basic rules of modeling language principles (flexibility and portability).

The BPMN process diagram is based on flowchart technology, which is very similar to the Unified Modeling Language (UML) activity diagram. What makes it better than UML?

  • A diagram is a flow of activities that take place under certain circumstances and in a certain order;
  • Various external circumstances can also be clearly recorded in this flow;
  • Unlike UML, BPMN provides a clearer record of activities that affect business processes
