LPIC-2 Linux Engineer
LPIC-2 is the second certification in the multi-level professional certification program of the Linux Professional Institute (LPI). The LPIC-2 will validate the candidate's ability to administer small to medium–sized mixed networks.

- Linux and infrastructure analysts
- Small to medium-sized site administrators
- Supervise assistants or advise management on automation and purchases
- Professionals responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, securing and troubleshooting small mixed (MS, Linux) networks

- management of block storage and file systems
- install and configure fundamental network services
- advanced networking and authentication and system security, incl. firewall and VPN
- advanced system administration, incl. common tasks regarding the Linux kernel, system startup and maintenance
About LPIC-2
A preparatory course for the LPIC-2 Advanced Level Linux Certification. This training a follow-up for the LPIC-1 Linux Administrator Course, intended for participants interested in acquiring the LPIC-2 certification.
In order to gain your LPIC-2 certification, you must pass exams 201 and 202. To gain your LPIC-2 certification, you must have an active LPIC-1 certification, but the exams may be taken in any order.

We’ll prepare you for, and test you in, the following exams. These are required exams for the LPI certification Level 2. They cover advanced skills for the Linux professional that are common across all distributions of Linux.

Prerequisites: LPIC-1
Validity: 5 years unless retaken or higher level is achieved
Requirements: Passing the 201 and 202 exams. Each 90-minute exam is 60 multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions.
