Module 1: Understanding Kanban Method
At this module, we will dive deeper into Kanban method practices and set of principles, the motivation behind the Kanban method and its origin, why it exists, what problems it strives to resolve, and how it helps knowledge workers and business services deal with 21st-century challenges. We will do enough exercises, and we'll discuss the practicality of all the concepts to set the stage for the rest of the course.

Module 2: The core elements of a kanban system
Kanban method uses kanban systems to ensure work on an item starts only when there are customer demand and system capacity to handle that demand. Therefore it is essential to understand the elements of a kanban system within Kanban method body of knowledge and how each element plays a vital role in the symphony. Such as WIP limits, visualization indicators, knowledge discovery workflow, work items types and classes of services, etc. To understand these topics, we will simulate different scenarios and will do less lecture.

Module 3: STATIK and its application STATIK is one of those techniques that is easy to understand but hard to master. Yet, it is one of the core thinking processes of all good Kanban practitioners. The understanding and usage of STATIK to a Kanban practitioner and coach is what basic surgical skills are to a surgeon.

Module 4: Designing a kanban & pull system
Part of STATIK is enabling the pull system. We make sure we dedicate enough time to it during the course. Kanban method has a significant body of knowledge and guidance on creating a pull system at different organization levels, vertically between the hierarchies and horizontally between teams, business units, or divisions.
This online class will be conducted on 4 consecutive days. Each day for 4 hours, from 9:00 CET - 13:00 CET. The Class is on Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday. And, On weekend you may rest, reflect and review some of the learnings. Alternative time/dates may be possible. Contact us for more info.
